Family-Center Placement Program

Row Homes

The overall objective of the Anchor Families family-center placement program is to allow families to remain intact while providing in-home case management. Intensive services are provided to each family while residing in an apartment or house located if needed and supervised by Anchor Families. These sites are both in Henry County and surrounding counties.

Payment for Services:

There are two options for payment of the family placement center program. The options for payment are as follows:

  • Option 1: The County Department of Child Services pays a pier diem in the amount of $88.33 to Anchor Families. This includes, if necessary, any deposits, rent and case management services. The family is responsible for all utilities.
  • Option 2: The County Department of Child Services pays a pier diem in the amount of $93.33 to Anchor Families. This includes, if necessary, any deposits, rent, utilities and case management services.

These fees encompass the entire family unit. Any family entering the program on option 1 can be moved to option 2 at any time in the future. One of the goals of the program is self-sufficiency. A lease can be negotiated with the family at a later date. This change is coordinated with the Department of Child Services.
