Transitional Living Apartment
-The Windmill

Windmill

Anchor Families provide a transitional living environment for youth completing a group home or foster program and ready for independence; however, are not yet ready for the freedom and responsibility of the scattered site apartment program. Youth are housed in a home located two blocks from the administrative offices of Anchor Families. Each youth has their own bedroom and additional responsibilities in the home. The home is fully staffed for the youth with staff supervision weaning as the youth demonstrates the ability to function with less control and supervision.

Youth in this program are involved at least weekly with the full-time independent living trainer housed at the Anchor Families administrative offices.
